Since the RoN PH launched in 2018, our network has been advocating and collaborating across different regions, sectors, and levels of society to have Nature acknowledged for its inherent value and, soon enough, as an officially acknowledged rights holder. To further strengthen and grow our movement, we are organizing our next General Assembly to be held this November 20-21. This event will be a hybrid and national celebration of RoN PH successes and a platform for planning and actual advocacy actions in response to the complex challenges that remain.

Overall, the main goals of the GA would be as follows:

• To celebrate RoN as a growing and impactful movement in the Philippines.
• To develop a deeper understanding of RoN that would integrate interfaith, women and indigenous perspectives on nature towards an inclusive RoN PH movement in harmony with nature and rooted in communities.
• To reflect and reconnect with lakes, rivers and oceans, and explore current and upcoming ways to care for and protect these bodies of water globally.
• To unite RoN advocates for upcoming initiatives.
